That center medallion is something I pulled from the stock patterns that come with Glass Eye. It was originally part of a transom window design and looked quite a bit different from this. I extracted, rotated and resized it, removed a couple of elements that didn't work for me, added another and inserted it into a vertical frame. Then I filled in the frame with the crosshatched pieces, border, etc.
